Privacy and data

Privacy and data handling.

A plain-English summary of how Go-To List handles app data, optional location, Projects, Usage limits, import/export, and support reports.

What Go-To List is designed to handle

Go-To List is designed around account/profile data, your saved recommendations, Projects, Wishlist rows, My Anchors, usage-limit status, import/export activity, optional location use, support reports, and diagnostic details used to investigate app reliability.

Projects

Projects can include Project metadata, members, invite activity, anchors, and linked recommendations needed to run temporary shared food spaces. Project-only recommendations are intended for the Project context rather than public discovery.

Location

Location is used only when granted to help find nearby recommendations. Manual search and anchor-based search provide alternatives when location access is unavailable or not preferred.

Import and export

Import is designed to stage places privately for review before they become active records. Export is intended to include your own owned data, including your Projects where supported, not other users’ private content.

Usage limits

Usage limits help manage fair-use guardrails for Google Places and high-volume actions. Hitting a limit should not prevent existing saved data from being viewed, edited, deleted, or exported.

Support reports

Support reports are intended to be private diagnostic records. They may include app version/build, device model, iOS version, screen or app area, category, severity, description, and a short non-sensitive diagnostic summary. Screenshots should only be sent when you choose to attach them.

Photos and premium features

Private photo upload and premium features are not part of version 1.0. This policy will be updated before Go-To List adds any new data types or paid features.
